Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 Work

We've replaced our entire VOIP infrastructure with 8x8 Work, and have improved productivity of the IT team not having to manage on premises servers, and having an extra line of support for anything that may come up! Unifying our mobile devices with our VOIP solution also extends the functionality of our phone system without having to rely on separate solutions to interoperate. Overall a time saver!

Pros

  • Manages ring groups and forwarding easily
  • Simultaneous access to calls and texts from computers and cell phones
  • Makes the support process much easier

Cons

  • We would like a way to customize notification alerts outside of business hours
  • Text group chats are a HUGE request from our users
  • Higher capacity for bridged calls (currently only 3 callers per conference)
  • It makes supporting VOIP infra issues easier
  • Reduces cost of on premises servers hosting a VOIP solution
  • Reduces cost by immediately expanding devices that can be used to communicate with clients (windows + mobile applications)
It is WAY better than our previous solution.
