Overall Satisfaction with 8x8 X Series (Formerly Virtual Office)

Our museum uses 8x8 as our main phone system and has done so for the past ten years.
  • It works just fine as far as phone systems go.
  • Setting up the phone system can be a bit of a morass.
It took a bit of effort to get assistance from an actual person when I was looking for support, but when I did, DJ was very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful.
On the front end, it's pretty standard as far as phone systems go. On the back end, I find it difficult to navigate.

I don't have experience with other phone systems so I am not sure if it is just phone systems in general or just this one, but I find the back end a bit difficult to navigate. In addition, I am not entirely sure if I just haven't figured it out yet but it does not appear you can change your personal message from an off-site location. I have tried with no success. That could be user error, however.
