Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

We use Absorb LMS for all our internal corporate staff as well as franchisees and their staff across 5 brands around the world. We use it to distribute training and compliance based on each brand's needs. It helps us drive consistency, accountability, and engagement at scale. Not only that, but we are able to deliver self-paced learning so onboarding is faster for each brand.

Pros

Cons

  • We have a unique business structure so some features do not work for us such as the ability for business owners to enroll their staff into courses. This has been a painpoint since we started a few years ago.
  • enhance search and discoverability - would love more AI guided search functions that could generate an answer for learners based on our content (other LMSs like Docebo do this well).
  • Different dashboards for different role types
  • Faster onboarding
  • Improved consistency for brand standards
There are some features that are not intuitive or that require additional cost to work better for us. The mobile experience still has room to feel more seamless and engaging. We have yet been able to make it work consistently for our audience.

Melissa Wu is exceptional and helps us every time we have a question and provides great guidance.
We really like the innovative AI functions of Docebo but appreciate the clean, modern interface of Absorb LMS.

Global onboarding: When we need to onboard new franchise owners and their staff across multiple countries, Absorb LMS ensures everyone gets consistent training, regardless of time zone or location. The ability to assign courses automatically and track progress makes this process smooth and scalable. Self-paced learning: Absorb LMS works well for asynchronous, on-demand education that learners can complete on their schedule whic is great for busy franchise environments where flexibility is key.

Blended learning programs: While you can combine online courses and instructor-led sessions, managing multiple touchpoints (pre-work, live sessions, post-work) can feel clunky. A more integrated solution for blended learning would make this easier.
