Overall Satisfaction with Absorb LMS

We use it for our customers, to help them with upskilling during our project implementation phase.

Its great for tracking quizzes, customer usage and engagement with the training on offer.

In the future we plan to integrate with other 3rd party providers, I have done this previously with other organizations I have worked for and it is a great way to increase the courses on offer.

Pros

Cons

  • There is only one area that has fallen outside what I would like but it is in the analysis phase with them, auto generated notifications to me when a users leaves a course comment. The work around is good thought, create a daily report on comments.
  • It has helped us create standardized training in a system that tracks anything we want, including leaner progress.
  • Reduced time lost with the need for contact face to face training.
  • Has automated our enrollment, quiz monitoring and certification processes.
I have had very little trouble finding anything I wanted, plus if there is a feature I want to know more about, there is an excellent knowledge base to support our team.
  • Reporting & Insights (Absorb Analyze or Absorb Amplify Direct)
We are new to Absorb usage, some of these features are in the pipeline but not in use at the moment, so I cant comment on these.
It has been excellent, I have had a few issues to resolve, they have been fixed promptly. We have been guided in creating our own website as well as SMTP configuration when using our own new training email address. Once we started loading courses, we were easily able to arrange a meeting to make sure the process we had adopted was suitable for us.

Sharon Doherty has been particularly helpful and there whenever we needed her help.
I previously tested three more but cant remember what they are as it was a while ago, but Absorb was the only one that answered the 58 questions/ tasks i needed it to achieve.

There are too many to mention but I have done a POC on a variety of LMS systems, i came up with 58 scenarios I wanted the system to be able to do, Absorb was the only one that did everything.

It is also well designed, from the backend as well, other LMS systems can feel slow and sluggish, Absorb is fast
