Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign
At Ghost City Press we run an annual Summer Micro-Chapbook Series which requires daily email updates to our subscribers. We've used Mailchimp for the past four years, but that platform was growing more and more expensive each year, and as a small business, it was tough for us to justify that expense. I'm very thankful to have found ActiveCampaign which has worked out better than I could have hoped.
- Their customer service is unparalleled in my experience. I was able to talk to a real person when I called with questions and they were incredibly helpful.
- The low price-point is one of the best parts about this service.
- The platform is incredibly easy to use and is very intuitive.
- They let you use a gmail account instead of a business account which many of their competitors do not. This was also an important reason which led to our decision to use ActiveCampaign.
- My only real complaint is that I've gotten a few questions from our subscribers about confirmation emails and have had to resend some of those. Not a lot but a few.
- The daily emails we send have led to an increase in sales on our website.

Mailchimp just became too expensive and it grew more difficult to navigate as time went on. We used that platform for 4 years and I knew it was time for a change. I spent several weeks researching alternatives, and ActiveCampaign was not only the easiest to use, but it was also the most cost effective solution for my company. I'm so incredibly happy with the service they've provided for us.
