Overall Satisfaction with ActiveCampaign

We moved to ActiveCampaign from another email service provider. We use it to send our monthly newsletter, business announcements to our lists, and are working on building out multiple automations to go out to clients and potential clients.

The only possible complaint that I have about ActiveCampaign is that sometimes I feel like I get too many emails letting me know about their features and making sure that I am educated about how to use their services. Maybe if I read them I would become an email guru, but one day at a time, right?

They make templates, automations, and integrations easy. I'm about to launch a new product and will be able to use the same account for both businesses. When I need help, I'm able to hop on a call/screen share with one of their team members who will walk me through what I need to do and then follow up by email with a copy of our video and additional helpful resources. I wish I had signed up for [ActiveCampaign] sooner.

  • Customer service
  • Automation

  • Would love visual editor as default
  • Less education emails (maybe once a week?)
  • Increase in email list building
  • Comfort with email automations
ActiveCampaign is much more intuitive for automation building. It has a lot more options and even a marketplace for automations so you don't have to build them out yourself. It's much easier to put in images/content that you want directly into the email and you have better options for collecting info (or at least it's easier to see where to find it). It has more integrations and makes online business building easy.

If you just need to send a one-off email, ActiveCampaign is overkill. But if you want a robust tool to send automated emails to multiple people, find out about your audience, and build on the work of others or work with a team, ActiveCampaign is a great fit.
