Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak
The product addresses the problems of tracking remote employees productivity easily. With ActivTrak we are able to see when our employees are being productive and when they are just sitting at their computer. When discrepancies between paid hours and worked hours varies greatly we are able to investigate to see if there might be a legitimate reason or if the employee is stealing time.
Pros
- Productive Hour tracking
- Website tracking
- Tracking when employees are multi-tasking at home for personal use
Cons
- Sometimes the screen view doesn't work
- Passive time needs to be reflected differently
- Excessive passive time should generate a warning
- It is had a positive impact on reducing hours paid where no work is actually done
- Screen view
- The ability to change the requirements for passive time
- Comparing employees within the same department.
We discovered that a lot of our employees waste time while at home, but not all of them. There is definitely a certain type of employee that thrives at home compared to in the office, but it is not for everyone. ActivTrak allows us to identify those employees faster so we can make decisions.
ActivTrak helps us see when one employee is doing significantly more work than another. There might be reasons for it but ActivTrak at least gives us a place to start investigating to see if there are any issues that need to be addressed by management. It is best used to monitor remote or hybrid employees.
