Overall Satisfaction with ActivTrak

Watching staff to ensure they're active while working from home and not using websites that malicious. We also aim to track if sensitive data is being mishandled.

Pros

  • Generally watches if someone is working or not
  • Generally watches what websites are being used

Cons

  • Way to establish passive time as non-productive
  • Way to tie users together instead of automatically creating new users when people log in via a local account
  • Reduce seats on a monthly bases vs annual basis
  • Generally does it's job
  • Causes us to manually compare against ADP timesheets
  • Allowed us to see when users leave their computers logged in without working
  • Screenshots of usage
  • Inactive time percentage, although it won't allow us to label it inactive

Every 2 months we have to delete users who aren't real users because someone logs into a local account or be faced to buy an annual seat. We also are forced to delete users on a short timeframe or face penalty of needing to buy an annual seat when someone logs into a local account.
