Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica for all project accounting, contracts, and change order management. I appreciate that the changes are live and immediate, and can be accessed from anywhere. My problems come about when training new employees and the amount of strokes and clicks needed to accomplish one task, there is a large margin for error.
- Communicate between project team and accounting
- Monthly projections and adjustments
- Change order and contract templates
- Ability to use loaded labor rates versus non-burdened rates
- Having to update revenue and costs every time is redundant
- A few too many clicks and steps to a process
- Monthly owner billing is standardized
- Employees can work from home and multiple jobsites
4-6 months
Other
Acumatica is used for corporate and all construction jobsite accounting. We also use it to write contracts and change orders between subcontractors and owners/developers.
Procore has all other project management abilities but not accounting. CMiC is very similar to Acumatica but even less user friendly, as it was still DOS based last time I used it. Prolog was still in development when I used it last, most of it's functions worked well but it didn't communicate well with our corporate accounting.
