Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use the Manufacturing edition of Acumatica to handle our Accounting/Financial reporting, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Quality Control, Sales Order and CRM processes. As a small business, it has allowed us to quickly ramp up from just accounting transactions to a full suite of capabilities that we use to manage every facet of our business.
Pros
- Provide easy to use Accounting system to review and approve expenses
- Gives us a full picture of the business through being able to track business account activity on both the customer and vendor side of the business
- Provide necessary detailed level of tracking of our inventory and quality control processes
Cons
- Warehouse Management System simplification when it comes to using mobile devices and scanners
- Improved dashboard creation options that are more dynamic
- Our business wouldn't have been able to survive on the system that was being used
- It has allowed us to manage our IT system costs in a positive way compared to alternatives as we scale up our business
1-3 months
We have better internal reporting and access to data that we didn't have previously. We also have been able to implement various improvements on the front-end of the business that has helped in the customer acquisition efforts.
We use it for end to end processing of our business activities. We have accounting, inventory management, sales order management, customer relationship management that is critical to our business success. We were able in the past 6 months to implement a Quality Control system that has assisted in our process as it relates to our certification and monthly audits.
Acumatica is by far the best value and most user-friendly of the systems referenced above.

Scalability was the most important factor as I selected Acumatica when the business was in it's pre-revenue stage. We are a few years later and looking at expanding to new facilities and adding to our workforce. The ability to add to the size of our business without significantly adding cost was a primary driver in our decision which allows us to spend our valuable dollars on added functionality.
I wouldn't make any changes as we are very satisfied with the results to date
