Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We use Acumatica to create sale orders that are agreed upon with our customers that then are the shell for us to produce and ship those orders. The integration that Acumatica offers makes business operations smoother for us by allowing us to link any supporting documents, update shipping information, and issue invoices all within the platform.

Pros

  • Keeping sales order information organized
  • Integrating third party plug ins for assist in multiple business operations
  • Providing updated inventory details as quantities change

Cons

  • The system seems to slow as more information is created. Offering a solution to offload historical data securely so speeds can increase would be a boon.
  • The amount of windows necessary to navigate certain operations can be time consuming.
  • Adding the ability to tie production information to specific acumatica users within customer organizations would open up a lot of internal strategies that we are unable to explore currently.
  • Unfortunately, I'm not privy to the the numbers that this question is calling for. But we've been a customer for five years, if that helps.

Acumatica seems to be a much more modern solution that is looking to really push its product and business partners into the future.
Acumatica seems to meet all of our needs as far as sales generation, billing, shipping, and purchasing is concerned. Where it seems to fall short is in our production space because we don't manufacture goods in the way that Acumatica is designed to support.

If your business falls in line with one of Acumatica's modules, it's a terrific solution.

Some pain points arise when your business ventures into more hybrid fields. My organization sells, bills, produces, houses, and distributes its products all from the same facility. So, we don't perfectly fit into any one of Acumatica's modules. Hybrid of combo modules would be a welcome update in the future.
