Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It's our complete ERP system, so we have a mobile system that integrates into it, but we use it for accounting, inventory, payroll, payables, receivables, financials.

Pros and Cons

I love the customization ability that you can make the screen have what you want on it and in the order or wherever it is that you want it.
I like the ease of getting data out of the system for other purposes.

I believe their payroll module could be a little more user-friendly, and easier to find where the settings and check marks are. That would be my one area.

Return on Investment

It has really cut down on some of the time that it takes to do certain tasks, so I think that would probably be the biggest return on investment at this time. But there's been a lot of benefits, but I think just the savings and the higher productivity.

Acumatica Serving Customers

I think the ease of finding things - because you can customize the screens to what you need it to be. I think that, so we're quicker and I think we can come up with information that they need easily.

I do a lot of financial and banking and overseeing some of the other situations, but I think one of the biggest things that allows us to do is the non-stock part of it. So I feel like our productivity and our ability to handle products that we don't stock has been off the charts because we didn't have any of that ability before. So I think that answered your question, but that's, yeah, that's probably the highest thing.

Microsoft Dynamics GP

Well, we decided to go with Acumatica and I believe it was a really good decision. The VAR was a big part of that as well because of their insights and knowledge, but I just felt Acumatica was the right fit for us in size and it had the capabilities we needed, but it also wasn't overkill.

I believe that, if I'm understanding correctly, I think that it really helps our sales team because the ability to see the pricing structures is a little easier than our previous system. I think the ease with which it allows us to pay parent versus children vendors eliminates a lot of extra checks and so on. And also on accounts receivable coming in, we can do the same thing. So if one company is paying for multiple accounts, it makes that a lot easier.
