Acumatica is used for purchasing, manufacturing, after market sales and service, accounting, warehousing, shipping, and collections.

Pros

  • Automation of tasks are incredibly easy and fast
  • Source of truth for our business and what is occuring
  • Usability for new users and speed of training.

Cons

  • The VAR network can be somewhat constraining. Be sure you really like your var before signing, as replacing a bad values added reseller is a huge amount of work
  • Certain areas use segmented keys and very inflexible
  • Improved order turnaround by roughly 50% reduction
  • Improved AR aging down to almost no customers past due
  • Reduced warehouse stock by roughly 15% by more quickly ordering instead of stocking.

Much much faster order intake, processing, prepayment, if applicable, procurement, shipping and invoicing.

At every step, less physical touches are needed, and timelines are in hours, no longer in weeks for erp process.
It supports well an OEM in allowing us to support per manufacturing and customers and fits like a mitten you slowly customize to match your hand perfectly.
Cost structure is really enticing, go live can be very fast, and use is very low cost.

Acumatica matches small to medium businesses very very well. It integrates very easily with many different software options, so you really can configure it to your needs. It has a clean and easy baseline recommended workflow, but can easily be configured to other workflows.
