Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
We use Acumatica as our accounting system. We brought it in to replace a legacy on prem version of MS Dynamics. We use it for our accounts payables, receivables and expense reporting.
Pros
- Easy to use interface
- Cloud-based and accessible from anywhere
- SSO integrated, secured with mfa
Cons
- Better document recognition, for example read pertinent expense info directly off of receipts
- Call center integration with ring central or something similar
- Make it easier to understand table structure for building GIs
- Huge cost savings as it isn’t priced per user, 50k plus savings for a company of our size
- More accurate and more timely billing with a reduction in DSO
- Would save us 100k of we’re able to move off of Salesforce but I’m not fully sold on its crm capabilities
I haven’t used the AI features but I look forward to seeing the AI sentiment regarding leads and opportunities. I am concerned about the pricing as it isn’t fixed
We have more accurate reporting that our account managers use to keep our customers informed, which helps us both internally and externally
We are a specialty finance company with very niche business rules and processes. Through our VAR we are able to heavily customize Acumatica to fit our needs. We also leverage the APIs heavily to synchronize data between our systems.
Acumatica feels lighter weight and easier to customize. It doesn’t feel as robust but dynamics can also feel like “bloat ware “
