Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

We are a B2B distributor in southeast selling products to golf courses, sports complexes, municipalities, and other industries requiring seed, chemicals, and fertilizer. We use Acumatica fully for all aspects of the business - SOs, Inv, PO, AR, AP, and GL. We also are avid GI builders and use business events to enhance automation.

Pros

  • Generic Inquiries - the ability to pull data easily
  • Document management in the app - able to attach documentation to any screen
  • SAAS platfom that is easy to access on laptops or devices
  • Workflow customizations and enhancements

Cons

  • Deferred revenue for distribution
  • Consignment inventory (storing for distribution)
  • Notifications that users are in the same transaction
  • Easier installation of local instances
  • We have automated most of customer invoicing eliminating overhead
  • We are working on AP automation to eliminate overhead
  • We were able to save our sales team a lot of time with workflows and automation
  • Easily scalable
  • Ease of user access with SAAS
Internal - the ability to better facilitate orders and automate invoicing for customers
Internal - dashboards that assist in data visibility and exception management
External - improved customer communication through custom configuration for customers, etc.
We have been able to separate our orders to meet requirements of our vendors that provide us consignment inventory. We also have been able to use OData to connect with 3rd party vendors for EDI reporting. GIs have also allowed us to better facilitate information and build custom reports for our internal teams and external teams.
