Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica

Our business uses Acumatica for shop floor control, MRP, customer relations, and project management. We have found it to be as good as you are willing to use it. Once you commit to an ERP system, use it fully; don't try to fit it into your previous workflow or patterns.

  • Customer management and website integration are great.
Have not used AI, so we don't have any experience to share. With the proper inputs, it could be a great tool for analyzing and performing routine tasks. We'll have to see what benefits it brings once we align our business practices with the tool's expected use.
The CRM system works well, but we would like automated email sends to enable customized messages.
Manufacturing requires scheduling of inputs, and we are not using the system to its full capacity. Our experience with the MRP module has been very positive; it works well. Traceability of parts and lots is a new initiative for our team, and we're excited to see how it helps us serve our customers.

Yes

Works well for production orders and MRP; some improvements could be made to customer management, such as the ability to merge customer records. We haven't implemented shop floor control yet, but once it's set up, it appears we could eliminate the current spreadsheet solution we've used since the 80s. Lot and serial traceability is great.
