Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

Everyone in our company has an account for Adobe Acrobat. We have about 20 licenses for the team and the app is used daily. Our main use is editing pdfs and converting from one format to another, i.e. PDF to Word. We also utilize the signature use occasionally. Every Word file we create eventually gets converted to PDF and opened with Adobe Acrobat, so the app is constantly in use with our team.

Pros

  • Format converting
  • Editing PDFs
  • Quick access to safely sign a document

Cons

  • When editing text, it can sometimes get a little tricky getting paragraphs to line back up if too much is added
  • Paragraph grouping needs to be a little better when editing. Often times sentences with be split into two separate text blocks
  • Increased productivity--internal invoices can be approved quick and easily with the signature tool.
  • Time management--instead of spending hours retyping a pdf into a Word document, we can easily convert from one format to the other.
  • Increased operational efficiencies--the Organize Pages tool is so helpful when we receive large documents and need to split them up into sections.
  • Integration with Other Systems
  • Ease of Use
It's so easy to use, even our most technologically challenged employees can do it! The tools are easy to find, figure out and teach. I appreciate the simplicity of the app, yet it does so much and saves our team so much time and effort. The app is hands-down the best way to view PDFs.
Adobe Acrobat's security and compliance standards have not impacted our organization much. We have not had any issues with security or data breaches. I take that as a good thing that we have no noticed any issues. It means Adobe Acrobat is handling things well on the back end with our data and keeping it safe.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat is hands-down the best app to use when opening PDFs. Everyone on our team uses it daily. Though the free version offered is great, we pay for Pro to access the extra tools like editing and converting formats. I think for a general document, the signature tool is great, but it's not on the level as Docusign when it comes to important or legal documents.

Using Adobe Acrobat

23 - Everyone from our accounting team to our sales team uses Adobe Acrobat. It is usually the first application I install on a new employees laptop. Adobe is used so often by our team that when there is an occasional "issue" (like someone cannot edit their pdf file), they have to be reminded that it is an application that they need to sign in to.
2 - Our inhouse Director of Information Systems is our backup support. I, as the Office Manager, am the main support for our team. I have used Adobe for almost a decade and have familiarized myself with common troubleshooting issues and how to address them. The two of us have not encountered an issue that we have not been able to address.
  • Editing PDFs.
  • Converting from one format to another.
  • Opening and reading PDF files with ease.
  • We just started utilizing the sign option
  • I don't know what else we can do with it.
We use Adobe daily, and I don't ever see us stopping the use of the app. It is so useful in our day to day activity. I am pretty sure our team would be lost without it. It is the app that automatically pops up when a PDF is opened; I am sure that most of the team could not name another app that can open PDFs and do what Adobe does.

Evaluating Adobe Acrobat and Competitors

If we had to choose again, we would continue to pick Adobe Acrobat. It is the best app out there to manage and edit PDFs. We also haven't even scratched the surface of everything else it offers, like graphic and web design and photo and video editing. We look forward to our continued use of the app.

Adobe Acrobat Implementation

As stated before, we started the company with Adobe Acrobat so implementation was minimal. Everyone was already familiar with the app and felt comfortable using it. It wasn't a question as to which app we would use for PDF management. It was a no brainer for us.
Change management was minimal - We used Adobe Acrobat from the beginning of the company so there was no organizational change management needed. Even when we introduce new employees, everyone is comfortable and confident using Adobe.
  • There were no issues

Adobe Acrobat Support

I have never contacted the support team for Adobe Acrobat, but it would not allow me to skip answering.
We did not purchase premium support for Adobe Acrobat. We felt like any trouble shooting issues could be resolved in-house or with a quick Google search.

I know and love Adobe Acrobat, however I'm sure I haven't used it to its fullest extent. I give it a 9 because I'm sure there is always something or somewhere it can improve on across device formats. I've just yet to see it.
