Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

We use Adobe Acrobat for quite literally everything that has to do with a PDF. I work in the Staffing industry so a large part of my day is viewing resumes and editing them, most often in a PDF format. We also work heavily with timesheets, also in a PDF format which needs to be edited quite often. Adobe Acrobat makes both of these functions easy.

Pros

  • Ease of editing
  • Makes a document easily viewable
  • Allows for electronic signatures easily
  • Converts from PDF to Word in a snap

Cons

  • The convert to Word function could be a bit better - sometimes you have to click more than once.
  • The electronic signature function could be improved - despite using the same computer, I find myself having to create a new signature ID most times when signing.
  • Saves me time - the function to convert a PDF to a Word document in a click of a button is exceptionally handy.
  • Increases productivity - Adobe Acrobat allows for easy edits for PDFs. You can easily make changes instead of creating an entirely new document.
  • Has allowed us to go paperless! We went from paper timesheets to electronic PDF copies.
  • Ease of Use
We prioritize ease of use - we need something that is easy for all members of our team to use. Everyone grasped the concept quickly.
The digital signature has been game changing in verifying a document's integrity. This is essential when sending out client contracts, or more specific to my industry - having clients approve candidate's timesheets. With the electronic signature, you know there is no question of who is signing off on what. This has been instrumental in making the switch from physical timesheets to electronic copies.
Adobe Acrobat has an easier interface and more functions.

I think Adobe Acrobat is perfectly suited for any business that has a need to view or edit PDFs - there really is not a suitable competitor out there. I genuinely think every industry / business has a need in some capacity where Adobe Acrobat can be applied.
