Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat

Reviewing proofs
Making basic edits to PDFs
Creating editable workbooks

Pros

  • Creating forms
  • Editing basic text
  • Combining documents

Cons

  • Working with images
  • Make basic text edits that don't require the work of designers
  • Ease of Use
Most team members are familiar with Adobe Reader, Adobe Acrobat was a natural progression with extra capabilities.
Documents we create and use Adobe Acrobat products with are all IP within our organization that we hold importance in securing and protecting.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Adobe Acrobat has capabilities that Reader does not, such as commenting, editing documents, that are helpful for my team that don't have access to InDesign.

Using Adobe Acrobat

500 - I am an educator at Des Moines Area Community College in Ankeny, Iowa. We teach 200-500 students each year in Adobe Creative Suite. Specifically, I teach 120 students in Adobe Acrobat for Graphic Design. Our students learn to create Interactive PDFs, edit existing PDFs, add security features, and lock down fonts. (Looking at you Monotype through Adobe Fonts...) Additionally, our favorite feature is being able to create editable and fillable forms.
