Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

In our world, we get resumes, contracts, and other documents that need editing. We are able to make the necessary adjustments quickly and efficiently to get the process moving faster. We work as a team and I am the technical expert responsible for fixing, creating, and editing documents for clients and other team members. By using the full software package, I am not limited to what I can do.
  • Allows page manipulation
  • Easy movement of objects on a page
  • ability to convert documents to editable pages
  • Fonts are sometimes inconsistent
  • Some objects do not move smoothly - in proper alignment
  • formatting bullets etc sometimes do not align properly
  • ability to edit a PDF
  • ability to remove pages from a document
  • ability to add pages and rearrange
  • we were able to place a candidate and beat the competition because we had the right tools
  • Our client was thrilled we could fix a document for them
  • My teammates were able to respond to clients because I could fix the issues behind the scenes and took away the necessity of back-and-forth communication to make the fix.
It is easy to use / intuitive - with a little practice. I am a former software instructor and have taught this product in the past. As the versions have changed, it has not changed so much that I was unable to draw on previous experience. However, some features still do require a bit of help searching to navigate.
Well - I did receive a dark web notice that my information was compromised - so I am not sure I can rate that very high. This is a feature that I do not use at a document level. I have been able to get into any document I have needed. However, I have received notifications over the last few years that there have been breaches and my data was leaked. "Priding themselves in security" is not really something I am comfortable agreeing with at this time.
The reader is great - but all you do is... Read. Most people think they should be able to change a reader's document. However, that is where I get the opportunity to let them know about the differences. I have used very few other products like Acrobat - perhaps graphics editors, but those are not as intuitive as an acrobat.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

It's great to be able to make a change to a PDF - but it is not the best software to do extensive text editing. When there is extensive editing or text that needs to be added, it is difficult to match the font. It is obvious text has been added and doesn't match. At times the entire document needs to be reformatted to an entirely new font.
