Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

I use Adobe Acrobat DC for anything PDF-related. Oftentimes, this entails making edits to PDFs within the company. Acrobat allows me to easily go in and make changes to dates and other information quickly. I've also used Acrobat to insert digital signatures into documents that need signing, as well as create fillable forms that live on our website.

Pros

  • Fillable Forms
  • PDF Edits
  • Digital Signatures

Cons

  • Formatting sometimes changes when editing documents
  • It's a little pricy compared to other programs
  • Sometimes slow/uses a lot of CPU
  • PDF Editing
  • Fillable Forms
  • E-signatures
  • PDF Editing Protection
  • OCR
  • Acrobat has helped us OCR thousands of document pages
  • We have saved on paper by converting many of our forms to fillable PDFs with Acrobat
Acrobat is relatively easy to use. Someone who isn't familiar with any other Adobe products might find themselves facing a bit of a learning curve, however. It does have all the functionality someone would need for PDFs, so it truly is a one-stop shop. Its price might be the only thing keeping me back from fully recommending it, especially to users that don't need the large breadth of features that Adobe Acrobat DC offers.
We haven't had any problems with Adobe's security or leaking data. We feel secure that our data is in good hands. Having the ability to password-protect documents through Adobe Acrobat DC is an extra layer of security that we find incredibly helpful.

Do you think Adobe Acrobat delivers good value for the price?

Are you happy with Adobe Acrobat's feature set?

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

Acrobat is perfect for making edits to PDFs. It is what I turn to when I need full PDF functionality. However, for simpler tasks, such as removing or rearranging PDF pages, Acrobat might be a little too robust, and I'll often turn to a quicker method that doesn't involve Acrobat. This program is also great for securing documents so that they can't be edited.
