Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Acrobat DC

Adobe Acrobat DC has been a long industry standard and used throughout our organization for, documents, printed materials, reference materials, and everything in between. For our business use, we make weekly schedules for our clients that outline important instructions for them. Having Adobe Acrobat DC is a key component in relaying those instructions. I regularly use the page extraction tool, delete pages, and replace pages, and thumbnails. I also use the crop tool, to size a page correctly, this works especially for odd-sized pages within the same document.
  • Manage and Miniplate Pages in a document
  • Electronic signature when needed
  • Crop and resize pages to the same size
  • Combine documents from multiple sources, i.e. Excel, Word, other PDFs
  • Recognize Text OCR
  • As a user of Acrobat for many years, I wish some of the keyboard shortcuts were brought back. I used to be able to extract pages with a key combination, now you must go into the thumbnail section.
  • Page manipulation (Delete, Replace, Extract, Inert)
  • Crop pages, to make a uniform size
  • Reduce file size is helpful.
  • Streamlining orders for our clients in a pdf has been critical to the workflow of our business.
  • The ability to take a master document and cut it down to the important pages helps ensure our clients make fewer errors
The iPhone app doesn't give the basic page deleting, extracting, inserting, and replacing functions that I would have expected. Since that is a big part of what I use Adobe Acrobat DC for, I wish that was a portable feature in the app.
While we do not regularly password-protect our PDF files, it is comforting that there are options to do so.

Yes

Did Adobe Acrobat live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of Adobe Acrobat go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Adobe Acrobat again?

Yes

For cutting, deleting, replacing, and extracting pages, Adobe Acrobat DC is excellent, I'm able to break apart a master PDF into smaller PDFs for clients. When it comes to combining documents from multiple sources, such as word, excel, photoshop, illustrator, and other PDFs Acrobat comes in handy. Editing a PDF is best only for small touch-ups, and I would recommend using the original source document for major changes.
