The most advanced image generation tool, included in Adobe Creative Cloud.
Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Firefly
I lead a team of designers at a non-governmental organization, consisting of 5 service designers and 4 user experience designers. We use Adobe Firefly across all stages of design thinking to enhance our work: whether in concept ideation, such as generating storyboards; prototyping ideas by creating images for our designs; or communicating our proposals through presentations.
Pros
- Adobe Firefly produces images of significantly higher quality compared to other free generative AIs.
- The text-to-image tool allows us to quickly bring ideas to life, enabling real-time adjustments with participants during workshops.
- With the Generative Fill tool in Adobe PhotoShop, you can choose specific sections of an image to adjust or enhance by adding new elements through text prompts.
Cons
- Add a negative prompt option, allowing us to specify unwanted elements to exclude from the image generation.
- I’d like to sync the generated images directly with the Adobe Creative Cloud app, though I’m unsure if this is possible or how to set it up.
- I’d like to set up a dedicated, easily accessible space for my team, where we could share and organize images in a collaborative library.
- Adobe Firefly enables online co-creation sessions with a dynamic very similar to in-person collaboration, allowing users to prototype their ideas quickly and accurately.
- Adobe Firefly transforms the image editing process, completing tasks in minutes that once took hours, making the workflow much faster and more efficient.
- Just as other generative AIs have transformed text creation, Adobe Firefly enables the quick generation of high-impact images for presentations. Now, we no longer need to spend hours searching for the perfect images.
Adobe Firefly provides images of much higher quality than the CoPilot image generator and without credit limitations, allowing for more continuous experimentation. Although I haven’t used Shutterstock’s AI yet, I no longer see the need to rely on image banks for most of our projects, except in specific cases that require human figures.
