Overall Satisfaction with Adobe InDesign

Adobe InDesign is primarily used by our creative team to create print marketing materials. Our team offers brochures, postcards, flyers, and other print marketing materials to our clients as a part of their product suite. We also use Adobe InDesign internally to create sales proposals and digital documents to help our sales process.
  • Print Layout
  • Digital Publishing
  • Improve handling of large image assets to speed up the program.
  • Color management could be improved to better manage colors.
  • It comes with the Adobe Creative Suite, which makes it affordable.
  • Designers are able to work more efficiently.
The others do not include the robust features of Adobe InDesign. Some of the subscription or pricing models are not affordable or would be an additional cost. Adobe has the most flexibility in regards to pricing. Microsoft Publisher is the least recommended product and is not considered professional. QuarkXPress is the best alternative because it's been around longer. Affinity Publisher is too new in the market and still has a ways to go before it could replace Adobe InDesign.
Adobe is always improving InDesign to be a great product for designers. You can always find a tutorial or a hack for something on Google. Many blogs offer tutorials for certain workflows. There is also content available on Youtube, Lynda.com, and other platforms for tutorials. Should you need to get direct support from Adobe, the best resource is the community forums. You can ask your question there and other users or Adobe staff can answer your question. They also take suggestions and feedback about the product from the forums.

Adobe InDesign is the industry standard when it comes to graphic design and print layout. It has all of the tools necessary to create stunning materials (brochures, business cards, sales materials, postcards, etc.). It is also great for digital and web products if you want everything to look crisp and clear. Its packaging and export features are amazing because they give you exactly the print-ready pdf, assets, fonts, and information that printers need. Adobe provides amazing support, and there is a wealth of information available if a designer needs help doing something.
