Overall Satisfaction with Adobe PhotoShop

We use PhotoShop daily for various reasons: marketing flyers, brochures, and campaigns, as well as for image editing in a variety of areas. PhotoShop is the #1 most used graphic platform on the market, and we've had it in our arsenal for 10+ years now. Our entire marketing department has Adobe Suite access, so it's also to easily store files in the Adobe cloud and share across the team for instant access while working.

  • Online Marketing Collateral such as Banner Ads
  • Ability to Modify Colors and Boundaries
  • Excellent Saving and Compression
  • Easy Cloud Storage and Accessibility
  • It's difficult for first time users - we typically have to train someone to use the platform
  • When Adobe makes updates to the platform, sometimes they move or remove frequently accessed tools by our team - which makes it frustrating to re-learn.
  • The cost of Adobe can get pricey if you're not a larger company.
  • Friendliness and Ease of the UI (once you learn)
  • Ability to quickly create ads and banners
  • Ease of saving out to various formats and sizes
  • The "swiss army knife" of graphical editing allows us to work on any project easily and quickly
  • The ability for us to save out in various formats for printers, magazines, online, and more
  • The ability for the team to share files in the Adobe cloud
Many, many years ago we were using Corel Paint Shop. It's UI is friendly, but once we were trained on PhotoShop and it's robust tools and easy UI, we fell in love and never looked back. There wasn't really anything wrong with Corel, it was more that PhotoShop just offered more.

For pretty much any graphic designer, marketing department, or web developer - PhotoShop is the industry standard. Once you learn how to use the platform, it's the only thing you'll ever want to use going forward. All of the tools that PhotoShop has in it's UI is beyond anything you'll ever need. We don't even use 1/2 of what they give us.
