Overall Satisfaction with ADP SmartCompliance

We use ADP SmartCompliance for Employment Tax. I like the ease of uploading notices and the ability to track the progress. Also the ability to search is appreciated, when investigating issues you can easily filter by jurisdiction or applicable quarter. It streamlines our tax processes.

Pros

  • The reporting is a bit clunky, not intiuitive

We use ADP Work Force Now
As it is an ADP product it flows seamlessly between tax and payroll
Yes we read the updates that come through ADP SmartCompliance and the iReports memos that are released, this allows our company to stay apprised of changes
It is a benefit to access in one system but we do need to go to ADP WFN, iReports and ADP SmartCompliance for different things
It has been many years since I used another system but ADP system is much better.

When using ADP WorkForceNow for payroll the tax processing for multi-jurisdiction is great. ADP SmartCompliance completes the filings and sends consolidated reporting. If you are not multi-jurisdiction it may not be as valuable but being in 46 states there is no other way I would want to process the tax filings and payments.
