Overall Satisfaction with Airbase

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use Airbase to get various business expenses reimbursed. For instance, for any work travel related spend that we incur, we would use Airbase for proper reimbursement. We also use Airbase for other miscellaneous expenses like office supplies and for work conferences/conventions. The scope is that I log an expense, it triggers for my manager's approval, then I get reimbursed via Direct Deposit.

Pros and Cons

Having a dedicated email to email receipts and screenshots of expenses incurred
Visibility into the reimbursement approvals workflow process
Easy way to track all expenses YTD

Cons

Would like to see an option to trigger inbox notifications to work and personal email
Would like to see less errors and speed times when uploading certain documents
Could see more integration with Paylocity given the umbrella organization roll-up

Return on Investment

Lowers amount of internal friction related to expensing travel and other supplies
Increases speed for reimbursement which is great!
Saves on time needed to access the tool with a great app and SSO integration

Usability

I'd say that the UI/UX design is really easy to use. As an employee user, I have fully adopted this product and think that the design is very intuitive. The screens and error messages are well thought out as to avoid confusion or incomplete workflows. The tool is overall designed really well.

Airbase is great for expensing company work trips like corporate retreats, client onsites, and everything in-between! It's also great at collating and compiling expenses through the great features offered via the Receipt Inbox. It is also great for logging any expenses through Amazon. The tool does a great job at scraping relevant information off an invoice or receipt.
