Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I've been using Airtable for the past month to plan and manage social media campaigns and website content and so far it has been great. We're dealing with a lot different platforms and content types which each have their own workflows and requirements, making it difficult to organize them cohesively. In Airtable I can have all that data in one place and then display exactly what I need with different views.

Note: This review has been placed as an eligibility requirement of Airtable's non-profit discount program, but is an accurate reflection of my experience.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Calendar view makes it easy to scheduled content without having to transfer information
Flexible display options
Ability to attach an image or file to a spreadsheet record

Cons

More options for linked records—being able to reference specific columns and color coding specifically
Difference in usability between versions—basic calendar functionality like color coding and views that display date ranges aren't available in the free or plus versions which creates a barrier to entry for a lot of individuals and small businesses

Likelihood to Recommend

I would recommend Airtable to anyone at a medium to large company who needs to manage interconnected projects—particularly if scheduling is involved.

Functionally, Airtable would be fantastic for individuals/freelancers and small businesses, but the current pricing structure may not feasible.
