Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io
We use Apollo.io for both sales and SEO backlink cold outreach. For the latter, we need to find contact details of good-fit leads to improve our pipeline and drive revenue. For SEO, we need to build the domain rating of our website so we are doing a linkbuilding campaign. For this we use Apollo.io to find the email addresses of blog writers and editors, as well as create cold messaging sequences for outreach.
Pros
- Easy to use. Platform is intuitive
- Offers a detailed database of contact information
- Easy to personalize cold emails
Cons
- Phone numbers of European contacts are often not available
- I wish you could manually export contacts into Hubspot without setting up an automation to either bulk push or push when Apollo.io lead stage reaches a certain point. Right now we can't push to Hubspot manually unless we enable one of those options
- I feel like there are a few unnecessary steps when creating sequences that could be cut out so the workflow is even smoother
- Improving our pipeline with good leads
- Improving our website domain rating driving more traffic to our website
- Saving time on manually finding leads and emailing them
The phone numbers given by Cognism weren't accurate and it was too expensive. HubSpot Sales Hub is less intuitive and not as easy to use when setting up email sequences.
