Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io
I have consultants covering multiple specialisms and sectors. Because of the niche of the people I work with, there isn't always a lot of overlap in my contacts. Apollo.io has helped me find and reach more people, and be present in their mind by allowing me to automate sequencing to BD even when I would otherwise be busy or unable.
Pros
- Find specific contacts by adjusting filters
- Allow a boot-strapped start up to have access to a wide range of BD tools
- Automation tools! Consistently top up your sequence and contact people
Cons
- I am not a fan of the AI written tools. It needs to find a way to be more personal
- Mobile friendly. It's hard to do things without a laptop
- Layout on desktop can be confusing sometimes. Too busy.
- Having customisable sequences makes it easier to follow-up when you are busy. I would have forgotten/not done certain tasks had it not been automated
- Make yourself accountable with the "Manual" tasks. Apollo.io give you all the data to make calls, and you can set yourself reminders to do it.
- Clean accurate data. I think 85% of numbers are correct and most contacts have emails. Vital for getting through.
Strong impact on efficiency. As a busy person it is hard to remember to do everything when you want to do it. Automating means that you don't have to remember, you just have to set it up at the start. Adding new contacts to the pipeline is valuable and can be automated also. The interface can be a bit busy, some work to clean it up would be brilliant but it is easy to use nontheless.
I do not use the AI feature too much, however suggest contacts is helpful and the fact that these contacts can be automatically added to a sequence is helpful too!
