Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I'm currently using Apollo.io to find shipping & logistics contacts at various manufacturers across the US. Sourcing the correct email addresses for current employees was challenging before. The product has allowed me to not only source email contacts but also send campaigns on the spot. I'm still exploring the many tools that Apollo.io has to offer. The next phase of my marketing is cold calling so I will utilize the dial available on the platform. So far the platform has been amazing to use.

I have increased the amount of prospects on my list
I have identified industries I didn't consider approaching before using the platform

Efficiency

Apollo.io has allowed me to collect more contact information or prospects that I was able to find before using the platform. I have been able to collect prospects for my master list and send emails with one click. Previously I found contact information for prospects on one site and used another site to set up email marketing. The platform has streamlined the process.

Time Savings

Apollo.io has saved me a lot of time sending emails. The AI tools in the email sequence have the option to write an email and insert company specific verbiage into each email. Inserting company specific verbiage has been a game changer. It gives all of the emails a personal touch as if they were specifically written for the customer instead of sent from a mass database.

Usability

Apollo.io has an amazing amount of features. It's great being able to complete so many tasks in one space but it's also overwhelming. It took me a few days to work through all of the options when searching for a company or person. After a few days it started to provide companies for me which was confusing before I understood what was happening. At first, I was also confused about what a "sequence" was so maybe some of the jargon can be confusing. I think with time I will become more comfortable once I understand all of the options offered.

Alternatives Considered

ZoomInfo Sales

I link the interface of Apollo.io better than Zoominfo. Zoominfo only provides a company employees and rarely the specific people I was looking for in shipping and logistics. It generally recommended higher level executives like Presidents or COO's instead of the decision makers I need to work with. I also found much of the info Zoominfo provided to be outdated. In some cases the people were no longer employed with the company

Apollo.io is very well suited for B2B prospecting. It offers reliable information, provides options for email campaigns with various set ups, dialer and scheduler options to help close deals. It is important to customize the email templates to make sure they are reflective of your specific business. It is mostly AI generated so the tone and formatting will need some adjustments. Overall it's a great product. I look forward to unlocking more of it's benefits.
