Overall Satisfaction with Apollo.io

I use it to help me with cold out reach and prospecting. Also, I use it to help me find similar companies that match our current ICP. I've set up dynamic sequences to target folks by email, phone and LinkedIn.

Pros

  • I love the lookalike feature to help me find similar companies to those that are a good fit.
  • I like the ability to build company lists to help me know who I need to target.
  • I like how it's easy to see and view people with a linkedin profile.

Cons

  • I wish it was easier to add a single contact to hubspot. Whether from Apollo.io or when looking at someone's profile on LinkedIn and using the extension. A one click add to CRM would be super helpful.
  • So far it hasn't brought any new business in yet. However, I need to increase the volume.
  • It has at least identified lots of great targets.
Its helped me find new accounts to target and saved time googling companies.
My ICP is not robust, it's more niche. So it's hard to drive outbound at scale. So it's helped source companies, but also its still a very manual effort.
It can do a lot but as a result, it's also so busy with so much information that it can be overwhelming and confusing to find what you're looking for.
I liked the interface of Cognism much more. I think the data quality was also slightly better. Cognism did not have the lookalike feature though.

Jobin was great to be able to create LinkedIn sequences.
