Overall Satisfaction with Apple Numbers
I use Numbers for all of my spreadsheet tasks. I also use it for form creation, signs, some inter-office documents. I like to use Numbers especially because the tools are intuitive, and consistent. Portabaility between Numbers and other spreadsheet programs is seamless. This is expecially useful when working or collaborating with PC users who likely are using Microsoft products. I have never had any significant issues when sharing files with Excel users.
Pros
- templates
- layout
- tool selection
- compatibility
Cons
- customization of workspace
- saving pre-selected tools
- consistent fonts across platforme
- simple to use...saves time
- produces high-quality, professional documents
- very easy to share and collaborate with other team members
Numbers is every bit as good and functional as Excel.
