Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We mostly use Storyline to create learning modules that are then uploaded to an LMS. The product lets us create on demand courses that are user friendly and fairly easy to create. We create around 200+ learning courses per year.

Pros

  • User friendly
  • Frequent improvement updates
  • Helpful review process

Cons

  • Accessibility--We are creating learning modules that need to be accessible. We often have to provide an accessible PDF because so many features within modules are not accessible.
  • More opportunities for open source creation.
  • We were frustrated with navigation being locked upon return and had to build in variables where it felt like there sure be an easy solution. I think that some of this may have recently changed, but we're still working out exactly how it works.
  • We are able to quickly create on-demand learning modules that can be integrated into our LMS.
  • It is fairly easy to train new employees on how to use.
We mostly use Storyline, Rise, and Review. Review is great for sharing projects with SME's who are not familiar with the software. We are just learning the AI Assistant features. I would like to learn more about Reach.
I don't have much experience with AI Assistant. We would like to start using it for narration and closed captions.
I feel like it's fairly user friendly. There are a few things that can be frustrating or difficult to navigate, but it is overall a good product.
I think that Captivate is harder to use but is capable of more things. Vyond is great for animation, which I think is not what Articulate 360 seems to be geared towards. Camtasia is good for video and screencasts. It would be cool to see a 360 product that does better animation and video creation.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

We feel like it is well suited for creating engaging on demand learning modules, but we feel like it should be more accessible to meet the needs of those of us who work in the public sector. We feel like the revision process has been the most challenging--when our modules are older, we need to do a lot of work to bring them up to speed with newer features. This can be time-consuming.
