Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

I create eLearning, videos, and games with Storyline. I don't have many complaints, other than Storyline tends to crash relatively frequently.

Pros

  • Customization/variables
  • Creating marketing style videos
  • templates and reuse of assets

Cons

  • better video editing; more options to trim and add transitions
  • File sizes can tend to get a little out of control.
  • Reduced training costs for sure. We can create digital training solutions that can replace and/or augment in-person options.
I use Storyline for most things. I will use Rise if I need to do something quickly.
I used it during the free trial once or twice. I cannot speak to how good or bad it is.
Once you get into the program, it is pretty easy to use. I know it can seem daunting for first-time users, but like I mentioned earlier: you can make things as easy or complicated as you want to.

Do you think Articulate 360 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Articulate 360's feature set?

Yes

Did Articulate 360 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Articulate 360 go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Articulate 360 again?

Yes

There is not a better eLearning authoring tool out there. You can make items that are as simple or complicated as you want them to be.

The video editor is weak, though I heard it I'll be a new upcoming feature.
