Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

All of our instructional designers (five of us) use Articulate Storyline and Rise. We make a lot of software training. We use it to make training more interactive.

Pros

  • Creating interactive courses
  • Rise Ai makes everything faster and helps us be more concise.
  • It's easy to export to our LMS and to xAPI
  • I'm learning how to use variables, and the possibilities seem endless
  • The community is dope!

Cons

  • It takes up a lot of space on the hard drive
  • sometimes states can be confusing
  • It's difficult to learn, and takes some time to get good.
  • I'm not sure since I've always had it since I started.
Rise is good for when something will change. It's easy to show SMEs what is possible. Articulate is best for training on software especially when there is no sand box.
I think both. I am not fast at Storyline yet, but Rise is very quick. The training looks great and impresses SMEs. I love that xAPI is easy to integrate.
It's a challenge to learn Storyline.

Yes

I used to use Articulate to make videos, but there are better tools for that. I think it's good for simulations (Storyline) and rapid production (Rise, especially with Ai.
