Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

We are using is to replace our old course building application - Pub Vegas as well as prototyping new product lines. I have personally used Rise 360 to build a POC for cloud applications for a major provider. Additionally, we are using Storyline to build interactive quizzes and content that is more engaging than our current system.

Pros

  • Easy, intuitive UX
  • Interactive elements and gamification elements are easier to build
  • SCORM exports for customers who do not use or LMS
  • Rise makes POC work easy to build and share with stakeholders for review

Cons

  • No Storyline MAC access - I have to use Parallels desktop which makes the process slow
  • I will reiterate the NO Storyline MAC access - my entire team is mac-based - it is a more secure system
  • I'd like to see an alternative to the Storyline slide based click through options perhaps incorporate elements of the Rise interface in Storyline
  • Storyline default accessibility controls do not meet our ADA standards for some of our major clients
  • Faster course production
  • Easier to train new employees to use the apps
  • We did not have the ability to generate scorm files until working with Storyline - very much increased our business capacity
I have only used Storyline, Rise, and Review. The ability to have in-line reviews is incredibly helpful. This allows us capture stakeholder feedback, QC reviews and beta examples for the team. I am not the training distribution person on my team, so I can't speak to that.
I have not used AI Assist yet. I cannot speak to this feature. I assume our course building team love it but I'm on the creative side of this. Sorry I don't have more info on this but I'm looking forward to learning more about AI Assistant
Great except Storyline - the most robust application - doesn't work with Macs - most modern applications are dual platform - I hesitate to assign new licenses to my Mac users. The tools available to Mac users without a Parallels desktop has us using other tools for some of the stuff Storyline can do on PC. There is also too much space between blocks in Rise - some of our learners did not intuit scrolling down

Great tools for various training scenarios. I really like the adaptability of Storyline slide templates and some of the programming ability for interactive content. Great for developing custom and adaptive content building. Graphic design elements could be better. Every storyline project has a similar look and feel.
