Use Cases and Deployment Scope

So we use Articulate to build courses for our audience.

Pros and Cons

Pros

So Articulate does very well with usability, so it's a very easy product to use. I've had to onboard an employee who was able to learn the program within a month, I think was amazing, and they were able to create the first course within five months of working at the company. So if that's not a testament to how easy it is to use, I don't know what is.

Cons

So as with any program, computer program, there's bugs to the program. So there's always room for improvement for getting out the glitches and the bugs in the program. But I love that Articulate has an online forum where you can discuss those bugs and usually there's always somebody who contacts you and says that their team is working on it. So they do a really good job of improving where they can.

Return on Investment

Definitely more accessible course creation. How we're able to add accessibility features into our trainings is unparalleled with captioning, with voice overing, with alternate texts for images. There's so many ways that it creates our trainings to be more accessible for our audience.

So I think the only program I have yet to use out of this suite is the LMS reach, but I just heard of wonderful presentation about it, so that might change. But for my purposes in my department when we are creating training content, we use Storyline 360. We also use Engage to create more engaging interaction within our courses. And I love using how seamless it is to go from course building to review with using Review 360. I think it's absolutely an amazing step and helped our workflow so much when sending out trainings to SMEs or stakeholders. It makes the review process so simple. I also love Rise 360 for when we're doing micro learning and we don't need to really create a huge training like we would with Storyline altogether. All of the whole suite is just seamless to use altogether.

Integrated AI

I actually have not yet used the AI assistance in my workflow. I was able to use the demo today and I'm so excited to incorporate that into my workflow. But yeah, I'm really excited about it.

Likelihood to Recommend

I think Articulate is well suited for any online learning environment, whether it be asynchronous or hybrid learning environment. I think it is the standard for the industry and I think if you're not using Articulate you're something wrong.
