Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360

we use articulate 360 in a lot of different ways. Sometimes we use storyline for e-learning creation from anything from sales training to compliance. We also use rise as job aids mostly and we use the review tool for any course that needs to go to stakeholders

Pros

  • Storyline 360 does a really nice job of having a blank canvas to add content to
  • Rise 360 is fabulous for people that are too intimidated by storyline, but still need to create content

Cons

  • I wish that a lot of the issues that could be solved with JavaScript could be automatically built into the tool
  • A certificate at the end of a course should be easy to create and print or email to the user
  • Accessible course creation definitely it’s so much easier to send compliance training versus sending a trainer to teacher of live course for something like compliance
  • Being able to track and articulate 360 course in an LMS has made HR documentation searchable
I mainly use Storyline 360 because it is the most versatile. I will sometimes use Rise and I will always use the Review tool. The tool is almost the most handy because you can insert videos into a one slide, a Storyline file, and upload it to the review tool and send it to stakeholders, then you can get accurate feedback.
The best part of the AI assistant so far has been the auto rewrite feature. I will frequently include bullets and then ask it to auto rewrite in a conversational tone which becomes my notes for the slide. Other than that I have not had much experience using the tool.
Articulate 360 is really best in class. It does everything I wanted to do and a bit more. There are features that I haven’t even touched and I work with it weekly. The Articulate 360 LMS tool looks very cool and versatile. I just don’t use it.
The tools I added above work with Articulate 360. I wouldn’t exclusively create a video in Articulate, mostly because I don’t think the recording tool is very good. There seems to be a lot of compression.
