Overall Satisfaction with Articulate 360
I use Articulate Storyline to create internal training for the entire company. It is easy to use my business objectives to create storyboards to turn into a great automated experience including embedded knowledge checks.
Pros
- Ease of use
- Ease of editing
- Ease of converting to usable files for uploading
Cons
- Difficult to copy and paste while keeping integrity of templates
- Difficult to have multiple programs running at the same time. Storyline freezes up if more than a few programs are running concurrently.
- Pro: using knowledge paths, all users can get one file with customized training
- Con: the training sometimes freezes when going from training to a third party site
- Pro: with very little training, a person can make a professional program
- Con: the providers sunset previous packages pretty quickly so buyers need either to be self sufficient or ready to change software every couple of years
It’s easy to use and saving templates for uniformity works well. Price compared to Adobe Captivate was also a consideration.
