Overall Satisfaction with Asana

We had the best if hopes and dreams for Asana - as a time based business with many repetitive tasks we were so excited to find Asasna - each task, converts to billable time (or time against a flat fee contract). Often we work on multiple clients' single tasks
  • Tracks to dos
  • Allows others to see open items
  • Clean UI
  • Support is not available via voice
  • No decent integration into time and billing
  • Too vertical a product
  • Another vertical product we need a turn key solution
  • Great to have ability to see everyone's work load
  • Great to know what has been done and what hasn't for a specifically client - great for vacation coverage
We thought Asana was the bomb but quickly abandoned it because it was way too vertical a product for out needs - we want a total solution not a bunch of patched together capabilties.
Asana does one thing very well, but only one thing.
Another narrow vertical product with no understanding of the business they are trying to support. Unless the niche vertical application suits you exactly, it is a very narrow appliaction that is not fully flushed out.
