Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis

Ascentis is utilized by the Human Resource Department. Manager Self-Service and Employee Self-Service are utilized throughout the organization.
  • Captures employee data
  • Provides robust reports
  • Ease of utilization
  • Great customer support
  • Not all employee data can be done through self-service if not utilizing payroll service
  • Calendar should be available for ALL to see
  • Older leave approvals/requests should be archived
  • Saves report creation time - what used to take a week can be done in minutes.
  • Cost per employee is industry standard - no surprises.
I have utilized Ascentis for more than 18 years from when it was first known as HR Office. I actually utilized software in one other company where I was employed. Having all the historical data is important for us as we have employees who have been with the company since it opened, thus providing a full scope of their progression through the company.

When Ascentis went to the "cloud", we reviewed other applications. We had concerns about data loss, and having worked with Ascentis for many years we were able to remain with them both for cost and service.
Other than a few minor kinks converting to the "cloud", we have been extremely happy to continue our partnership with Ascentis.

Ascentis is well suited for full-scope HR/Benefits/Payroll. It can also be utilized in part (only use what you need).

May not fit the needs of all companies based on data they are trying to store. This however can be overcome by talking with their sales/customer service representatives.
