Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

It is being used across the organization. It solved the problem of employee records management and hiring process streamlining.

Pros

  • Captures the employee's history
  • Manages the document storage

Cons

  • Handling an employee that has two roles within an organization that require different settings
  • Rounding of salaries and hourly wages when passing from HR to Payroll to timing keeper.
  • We are still working on the ROI calculation as it hasn't been a year yet
  • The initial investment will show a negative ROI, but it's believed that once they system is fully implemented and the staff is over the learning curve the ROI will be seen.
I believe it is meeting our needs from having no HR capital management tool. We are still getting to know the system and find new ways to streamline our HR functions.
During our implementation I feel like Ascentis HR guided us through the process which made it easy for us to implement with a limited amount of staff.
It's suited well for a standard shift and employee working the 8-5 or similar shifts. It is a little less suited for situations that have less standardization within the employees schedule, pay, etc.
