Overall Satisfaction with Ascentis HR

  • Used by our HR department to feed payroll.
  • Used by accounting to run reports.
  • Allows us to keep all employee info in one area--improves efficiency
  • Allows for dual authorization--HR inputs data and the Payroll department reviews
  • User-friendly
  • HR sends changes over to Payroll. You have to approve items for the same employee in the order received or the system breaks--would be good to have the system recognize timing.
  • Definitely a positive over the prior company. Helps with communication and efficiency.
It can be hard to get a hold of someone--often have to leave a message. Once you get a hold of someone, they do a good job.
I would not call the support exceptional.
[It] Works great for a medium organization that has a lot of moving parts. I don't think it would be necessary for a small organization.
