Overall Satisfaction with Atlassian Confluence

It helps us to break down information silos with a centralized platform for teams to share knowledge, ideas and solutions.
It enables collaboration among team members by allowing them to co-author documents and comment on pages.
It helps us to setup a good structure for documenting business and product features.
It makes our lives easier to create, organize and maintain large volumes of content.

Confluence has a clean and intuitive interface that makes it easy for users to navigate and find what they need. Creating content in Confluence is straightforward, with the most basic formatting options. Commenting, mentioning, and page history, make it easy for teams to work together on content. The search functionality is robust, making it easy to find specific content within the platform.

Specifically we use the in our department for documenting product features and give more context to product development as we are describing user stories. The user stories for new product features have the basic description, but when there is more context and detailed information needed it is linked to confluence documentation to better understand the user story description.
Additionally we plan our events on team and department level in confluence where everyone specifies their travel requirements. It is the place to go when informing about our next events and details.
