Avalara is a Game-Changer for Automated Tax Solutions

We use Avalara for all our monthly sales tax filing. We reconcile our sales tax and sales using Avalara reports. Avalara helps us keep sales tax as efficient and accurate as possible, maintaining around 40+ sales tax returns for us each month. We also use the exemption certificate management. This helps us in maintaining exemptions certificates for invoicing. Having an API that communicates with Avalara helps in reducing invoice processing times and creates more accurate sales tax charges to customers.

We not only use Avalara for tax calculations, but we also use the managed return filing and exemption certificate management. We are currently looking into adding some of the professional services such as the 1099 and W-2 platform, as well as the licenses management platform. These all have a positive impact to our organization as it provides improvements to accuracy and efficiency in a complicated compliance issue for most business.
