Overall Satisfaction with Avalara AvaTax

Yes. It is time-consuming and we had to do a lot of clean up work on our customer list. It is imperative people watch the webinars. They are extremely helpful.
It is very simple, once you have worked with it a bit. Again, I would urge new users to take advantage of the "University" classes, webinars.
We are a small oil and gas related manufacturing company, with a small staff. Three of our employees use AvaTax. We purchased it because it is impossible for me to know every tax law and district. This was my solution to make sure my company was compliant.

We use them all. We used the CertCapture to update our records. We use Avatax to manage, calculate and pay our sales tax obligations, file our returns. Basically, Avatax is my sales tax department.
Because we ship all over the country we had to fill the void with making sure our business was compliant with all of the taxing districts in the US. For us, it has been compliance and the access to legal staff.

It also lessens my workload because I do not have to file returns.
