Overall Satisfaction with Avalara AvaTax

AvaTax is a comprehensive and broad-scale program. It takes some time to wrap your head around it, even if you are a seasoned tax preparer.
Avatax has simplified my reporting and eliminated the need to hire an additional administrator.
We install our product across the US. This means that we create nexus with every installation. Avalara AvaTax has helped us to ensure we are collecting the correct amount of tax and reporting to the correct agency.

Yes, we use both of these features. We don't have a lot of exempt customers, but when we do, we always have an issue.
I haven't used other systems. When I started evaluating them, AvaTax was widely recommended.
If you are in more than 5 states, AvaTax is the way to go. In a smaller setting it may be overkill.
