Overall Satisfaction with Avaya Cloud Office

We use Avaya Cloud Office in our business as our phone system, as well as for our video conferences and messaging application. It is used across the whole organization at two locations. It has addressed the following problems: video chat ease of use, out of office ease of use, IVR management, and user management.
  • IVR Management
  • Voicemail to Text / Voicemail to Email
  • Video Conferencing
  • User Management
  • Needs more ring customization on phones.
  • Admin console could have better descriptions of what each function does.
  • Custom Rules can cause issues if you are not careful.
  • Positive: Helped our customers with better phone systems.
  • Positive: It is easier than ever to receive calls when out of the office.
  • Negative: Is a steep learning curve for users of extremely old phone systems.
Has helped us cut costs by getting rid of other subscriptions for video / messaging options. Benefited by being able to do almost everything from your cellphone - video conference, messaging, fax, call management, forwarding messages, etc.
Support has helped me within minutes, even on holidays, when a customer of ours with Avaya Cloud Office had issues resolved in a very impressive time. Support has made every attempt possible to make sure we have no ongoing issues with new setups, or users that have unique issues.
We have not used any third-party integration yet.
We have had compliments from customers about the quality of Avaya Cloud Office meetings compared to other services that have been used. We have benefited by using the green screen to make conference areas / personal offices / home meetings look more professional.

Well Suited: Small business that wants a phone system designed like a larger business. Users who spend a lot of time on the road.

Less appropriate: Cost can be high for larger businesses. Geared more towards softphones, some users will not get much functionality if they don't want to try new updated features.
