Overall Satisfaction with AVI-SPL

I work in the audiovisual industry and regularly purchase products from AVI-SPL. My group is fortunate enough to have skilled individuals on staff who are able to install and commission the AV systems we provide. Being part of that time, I can speak toward how important turnaround time is to a project. With AVI-SPL, I'm able to send a request for pricing and typically have a quote back within two hours, often faster than that. Once a PO is cut, we get updated with product ETAs which is very important in today's delayed world.

  • My location is relatively remote in regards to distance from the nearest AVI-SPL location. This leads to increased installations costs. Finding a happy medium would be preferred.
  • I speak with my salesperson from AVI-SPL on a biweekly basis. I wish more of their salespeople were like that.
  • An online client check-in location would be amazing. I could pop in and quickly check the status of my orders.
  • By doing more things in-house, we're saving money on installation costs. The quick turnaround time with box sales from AVI-SPL helps tremendously.
  • The cost savings we've found through AVI-SPL means we can do more with our budget.
  • Being able to purchase products from nearly any brand in the world makes designing systems a breeze.
I honestly haven't used this feature.
We have utilized the products purchased through AVI-SPL to set up many classroom environments to be remote/hybrid for instruction. AVI-SPL is quick to let us know when a product is significantly delayed and offer up other solutions.
None of the other AV vendors we use are listed above. We've used several and we often send out the same RFP and choose the low bid. AVI-SPL is often the winner.

Box sales of AV equipment are fantastic through AVI-SPL. If you need to purchase a single product or many, they are typically my go-to. I seldom use them for installations due to my location relative to the nearest AVI-SPL install team. Installation figures tend to be 4x the amount of location vendors.
